Everyone who purchases property in Costa Rica is cautioned by friends and the various forum boards that it is essential to have a "good attorney" - the problem is, how would you know if the guy recommended is "good" or just a referral out of "friendship" or business ? - The majority of property purchases gone bad down here are a direct result of incompentent, lazy or outright dishonest acts by attorney/notary activities which take your money and never do record the transaction or fraudulently transfer the property to someone other than you ...

AND, here is the part most people never hear about - there have NEVER been any Costa Rica attorney/notary disbarred, suspended, sanctioned, litigated or even reprimanded for improperly transferring YOUR property to one of their family members or girlfriends - these guys DO take care of their own down here - caveat emptor

We work with a dozen "local" attorney/notaries and they are all female because we have learned that most of the male attorney/notaries have a much stronger tendacy to be more concerned with their "macho image" than taking care of business in making sure your best interest is being served - nothing personal, just what we see

IF, you have an attorney that you know and trust, then you DO NOT need our services as a good and honest attorney will do exactly what we do, and will have the same favorable end results - IF, you are not sure or just plain don't know any attorneys in Costa Rica, then we will recommend one of our un-corruptable young ladies to do the legal portions of our services - we will be plaesed to introduce you to as many as you wish, to be sure we have the correct conbination of business and personality acumen that meshes with your approach
