We have learned over the years that a minimum of two field trips are
required to properly assist you in making a decision about purchase of property
and doing our T.E.A.M. effort - we have learned also that ticos are not exactly
punctual and it
is not their problem, it is your problem - si ?
Therefore,
we set our fees on a flat 1% for our basic services ($500 minimum)
and charge per diem for travel or lodging as required for each specific circumstance
- we use mileage chart below to determine mileage based on Ciudad Quesada
as "home base" and we charge $1.00 per km x total km of trip, plus $40 per
day for room and meals per person - there will be two people if we need any spanish
translation in dealing with seller or with seller's attorney/notary - Costs
of all unusual expenses, such as Federal Express, extensive long distance calls
or bank transfer charges are to be reimbursed
